I think this is the first quiz I've done where all of the above questions, with an All of the above choice, have all had the All of the above as the right answer. I had a look at the resource page while doing the quiz and was saddened to find that it had ~3/4 of the answers in it already, they usually just point you to the document that contains the answer (I think?).

Needless to say I'm really disappointed. If this quiz had been about the absolutely beautiful 130 page Industrial Safety catalogue, linked on the bottom of Wieland's Safety Engineering page, then this would have been a 5/5 quiz. Because it seems like many of the product related questions are answered very clearly, not to mention nicely presented, in that catalogue. I think most people would really enjoy reading a good catalogue like that, although while writing this comment I found that all of the information needed to answer the quiz was easy to find and nicely presented elsewhere on Wieland's website too.

Wieland have also put together four absolutely beautiful brochures on what solutions they provide for Building Installation, Lightning Installation, Machine Building and Wind Power. With the Hello Machine brochure about machine building being very relevant to this quiz. Just to point out another way in which this quiz could have been made really enjoyable.

As it is today it feels more like an exercise in using a search engine, as many others already have pointed out, than a good overview of Wieland's products and services. Which for a sponsored quiz is not great! Even the resources sheet could do with some work, instead of linking directly to a YouTube video it could link to the beautiful Analog Signal Processing page on Wieland's website in which it is embedded.

Not too hard. Scored a 60% without looking at the reading material. I guess my background as a FF/EMT and Electrician helped. Maybe even the 6+ NIMS certs helped.

I got 48% with no experience, prep or reading but I always test above my ability. Was temped to check "to light up curtains" but didn't fall for that one.

I'll have to try the search for quiz resources. Even after all these years of Googling I still do not think of using search. Maybe for the next quiz.

I think this is a test/embarrass yourself first and then brush up after type of quiz, rather than a learn first and test type one. Hence why the resource document is provided after failing the test to allow you to brush up on the areas that you need to.

A quick search for 'quiz resource' usually finds them up-front however.
