    My iPhone 6 has NFC hardware since it supports Apple Pay. I think the full NFC hardware implementation started with the iPhone 7 but you had to use an app to use it. Sounds like with iOS 12 that NFC is…

    My iPhone 6 has NFC hardware since it supports Apple Pay.  I think the full NFC hardware implementation started with the iPhone 7 but you had to use an app to use it.  Sounds like with iOS 12 that NFC is supported natively in the OS for the XS and XR.  And I think they will support phones 7 and above in the future.

     

    I guess I need to move into the modern world.  I’ve been using an old Nexus 7 tablet (Android 6) with the NXP app to do tag reading and writing.  I’ll start by checking out the webinar.....
