It is that time of the year again! The time Farnell runs its annual global IoT survey!

If you are an IoT solution engineer and/or hobbyists from anywhere in the world, then this survey is for you!

With your feedback we understand which IoT technologies and applications are the most popular and useful.

So, how can I win the prizes?

Take the survey and, after completing the questionnaire, you will be asked if you want to participate in our competition. Opt-in to be included in the competition and briefly answer a simple question on what would be your next internet of things project if you had all the budget you needed for it (explain with a couple of sentences). Farnell will pick the 10 best answers and award all prizes in December!

The criteria used by the judges to pick the best answers are: justification, value and applicability of answer in the IoT field.

Took the survey as well, even though Asia/Pacific only had four countries listed (and the country I'm in right now isn't listed)

Thanks to both of you for taking the survey. We really appreciate all the responses from anywhere in the world and your feedback is welcome. We significantly expanded the number of countries that are eligible for prizes this year (it was 13 last year and we have almost doubled it to 25 countries this year). It is a challenge to expand because of the legal aspect of the competition, but we are constantly reviewing. Please be assured we are listening to your feedback and I will personally pass on your feedback to the team. Hopefully, next year we can make it even better for you

Oh no! I hope it didn't sound like I was only in it for the prize! (although a prize would be nice ) I genuinely wanted to take the survey and make get my votes counted. I was just amused that the Asia Pacific is a separate region, but only four countries included (granted India and China are really large ones).

Looking forward to hopefully getting more countries eligible for prizes!
