Disposable pressure transducer

For a medical project where blood is circulated exracorporal we need to measure pressure in the circuit. We like to do this with disposable pressure transducers. Standard disposable pressure transducers can measure in the range of -50 .. + 300mmHg. We have to measure upto about 500mmHg. Does anybody know which (disposable) pressure transducer can be used for this?

I am sorry that there is no such disposable pressure transducer which range is upto 500mmHg. Until now, some disposable medical pressure sensors such as GE’s NPC-100T and Model 1620 only provide the standard range :-30 to 300mmHg.

Hi Gerrit,

Just saw your June posting looking for pressure sensors. Have you found them? There are a few Honeywell pressure sensors that offer pressure range up to 750 mmHg with high acccuracy. They could provide you the resolution and range you need. Please let me know if you'd like more information. Thanks.

Hello Gerrit,
If you are still looking, you can get luer-connected disposable pressure sensors that are good on the positive pressure side past 20psi (1030mmHg)(rating says 30, but we've never gone there.) from Spectrum Labs (www.spectrumlabs.com) as ACPM-499-03N for a 3-pack. They have some sort of serial interface. I don't believe these do vacuum. No affiliation with Spectrum, but we have used the parts.
