How to find suitable motors & controllers for robotic applications

Hi, I am involved into robotics development and I want to bring it to the next level.

Since now i've only been working with simple DC motors.

Do you guys know how to implement and find small form factor stepper motors such as in this little robots developped at the Epfl ?

I have purchased many stepper motors here paa many projects I've had and can find any feature that suits your needs I recommend it to pass and you will see something.
