Hi to all..
I am a Engineering student and a hobbyist and have worked on Arduino and Other AVR micro-controllers, now i want to buy a SBC for which one should i go for Beaglebone Black Or Raspberry Pi ??
Has some one worked on both ?? please tell me which one will be better for a Beginner...

And that article is outstanding in its symmetry, fairness, balanced understanding of its author, and good coverage too. We've seen a large number of attempted comparisons of the two boards since the BBB launched, and most of the others failed in one area or another. This one succeeds. Very fair write-up, and reads well.
If you're an engineering student and a hobbyist, you're probably more on the BBB side of the decision because you'll outgrow the Pi's limited hardware interfacing rapidly and you'll benefit from the BBB's openness and enjoy its twin Programmable Realtime Units --- it's much more of an "engineer's SBC". But if you have the money, buy both and the Pi can play music while you work on the BBB. 
On the other hand, engineering students never have money, I know.
