May I say this is again a poll that is kind of unanswerable, just as 'what is the best development board' and 'what is the best engineering tool'? It's a bit like asking 'what is the best tool, a hammer…

All 3 of those opamps were absolutely great when they were developed. I preferred the LM324 because it was simpler to use. However I no longer use any of them because in todays low voltage electronics…

If I can use a MCP601 I do They're great for low voltage rail-to-rail solutions, and even have quite low offset.

I too prefer newer opamps. for the older audio projects I have used many ua741 and clones.
