The simple markings on photo does not have the Anode and Cathode marked.

The diodes you have marked as 1n4148 next to .1k 250 either side of the op amp I'm sure should be 15v zenners ?

You can also change all the power transistors to MJ15003 as they are easy to get

Was that 56v without the amp connected as voltage will drop with it connected

Thanks for the tip :)
While I wait for more zener diodes i am thinking a bit about measurement points and since I have no manual or description, I'm guessing a bit here..I can measure the output emitter resistor, at the marking with a blue ring?
