Now Available! An expanding line of Pro Elec LED Filament Light Bulbs which mimic incandescent bulbs with their classic shape and a similar looking filament. If you like the look and feel of classic incandescent light bulbs then you will love these LED's which are virtually indistinguishable to clear incandescent bulbs when lit! Currently we have LED light bulbs available in the classic A19 shape and the popular candelabra style.

Available Bulbs:
25-7410 - 2 Watt Dimmable LED Filament Candelabra Bulb
25-7415 - 4 Watt Non-Dimmable LED Filament Candelabra Bulb
25-7420 - 5 Watt Dimmable LED Filament A19 Standard Bulb
25-7425 - 4 Watt Non-Dimmable LED Filament A19 Standard Bulb
25-7430 - 7 Watt Non-Dimmable LED Filament A19 Standard Bulb

Reasons to Buy LED Light Bulbs

There are several great reasons to replace your current light bulbs with high efficiency LED light bulbs: they save you money on your electric bill, have superior light quality, cause less impact on the environment plus you only need to replace them once every decade instead of several times a year.

Cost Comparison Between LED, CFL and Incandescent Light Bulbs

As you can see LEDs last a long time, virtually forever in comparison to incandescents. Plus LEDs don’t burn out or suddenly stop working like other types of bulbs. Instead, LEDs produce less light over a period of time. This is known as “lumen depreciation”. In other words, the amount of LED light produced decreases over a period of time, and so does color accuracy. Therefore, the LED’s lifetime is based on a prediction of when the light output will decrease by 30 percent.

Energy Star calculates that switching just one bulb from incandescent to Energy Star will reduce energy consumption between 70 to 90 percent and save $30 to $80 on utility bills over the lifetime of the bulb.

LED technology converts 95 percent of the energy to light and only 5 percent is wasted as heat. Incandescents are pretty much the opposite. They convert only 10 percent of the energy into light, while 90 percent is wasted as heat.

Light Bulb Uses Based on Color

Our line of LED Light Bulbs all fall into the 2700K color range, which is a great match for standard incandescent bulbs. Another great use for LED bulbs is for wine storage because they emit very little heat. Too much heat can cause a temperature imbalance and affect the quality of the wine.
