I trust that the there are multiple spring fingers in the device making sure that the contact pressure is always good, regardless where a plug is positioned? Such a device will never hit the market in Europe as it is too easy for infants to put small (metal) parts in with serious consequences. In Europe new sockets have a plastic shield which is pressed aside when a plug is inserted. Anyway, the idea is certainly interesting.
