circuit for our requirement

dear sir , in my project the control voltage is 0 to 5 V and this control voltage use we varies the the heater which is 230 v operate.suppose output control voltage is 5 volt then heater operate 230 v if control voltage is less then 5 then heater works less then operate 230 v. using these we temperature controlling of tank . so , kindly help me for this types of circuit design....

    what is the power/current level of the heater?

    is this a pure resistive load? or you would need also a PFC on top?

    you can achieve this in 2 ways: with a voltage regulator (more difficult, since you should act on 230AC in directly) or by using an AC LED driver (you use the 5V command to change the output current, as a dimming signal basically)...

    Unfortunately I'm not sure either of these are suitable. A solid state relay (SSR) will work, provided you have a circuit to transform your control voltage (0-5V) into a pulse width modulated train. But, if the poster is asking this question, I'm not sure it is safe to be experimenting with mains powered heaters anyway.
