Power supply plug with Forked-Shaped Contact

bernh
bernh over 6 years ago

Hello,

I'm looking for a power supply plug with forked-shaped contact like this:

Farnell No.: 2677775
https://de.farnell.com/lumberg/1633-04/dc-hohlstecker-4a-12v-dc-kabel/dp/2677775?st=1633%2004

But:

with cable (~1500 mm) moulded, anguladet

Does somebody has any idea to purchase this plug with cable (~100pcs.)?

Thanks and kind regards,

BernH

    Hi Bernhard,

This looks like a normal 5.5mm/2,5mm connector (they nearly all have two small things on the inner area, which grips the centre pin, so the fork text may be confusing things (because there are non-standard connectors with outer metal with protruding fork).

If the item that you have linked to is definitely what you are looking for, then the cables are available here:

    https://uk.farnell.com/w/c/cable-wire-cable-assemblies/cable-assemblies/barrel-power-cords?connector-type-a=2.5mm-barrel…

For your length, it would be good to buy the approx. 10 feet or longer cables, and cut in half (because the cable has the same plug on both ends). So you only need to purchase 50 pieces.
