Magnetic Sensor

I have a 24 vlt 2.5 amp power supply...i have the brown to 24 vlt blue to negative and i get nothing out the black wire? Help.

why is this? How and what role do these sensor play?

Hi Nester Luis,

It depends which type sensor you use analog or digital. If it is an analog sensor it depends on which type output signal the sensor has voltage or amperage . Also it is very important to know how you are measuring the output signal of the sensor.

Yes, that is correct Wesley. There are sensors that gives milliAmpere as output and there are sensors that gives Voltage as output.
Like Douglas said, if you give the part number of the sensor we can give you more information.
