is there any difference between different kinds of arduino?

Hy,

I am working on Electrospinning (fiber fabrication technique). I am using Arduino 2560 and using 3 stepper motors. The gist of project is to make the whole machine setup 2D so that electrode can move in "x" as well in "y" direction.

From a speed perspective they all pretty much run at 16Mhz

What varies is the amount of RAM, FLASH Memory and IO pins. Top for IO is the ATMEGA2560 and at the bottom the ATTINY85
