Hi Don! Thank you, and thanks for the question. While volumes can be written comparing and contrasting all of the different technologies available for measuring gas flow, I'll try to give a reasonably…

Hello, Thanks for your reply. The problem has now been solved. There was an error in the catalogue which has now been corrected. The correct sensors are with me and ready for test in my project. Thanks…

Hi Michael - We're currently updating our site and will launch the new one with information about our 4M sensors very soon. 4M uses MEMS technology. Here are the tech specs. What kind of project are you working on?

I'm not currently working on a sensor type project but I've designed accelerometers and microphones (amongst others) in the past so I'm always interested in what's going on. Are you really developing your own MEMS sensor or buying one in and packaging/conditioning it ?

We found three 3-axis MEMS sensors that were already out there and repackaged them into a plug and play system. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to integrate 3D motion tracking and sensing into projects. Would love to hear more about your work!

    Hi Donna,

I'm looking for some type of low power and highly sensitive sensor to measure atmospheric pressure between two rooms such as isolation rooms in hospitals.

Also, a sensor that can monitor air flow inside a duct system to let me know when to add or reduce air to control pressure difference between two rooms.

I would prefer something without the use of tubing. Thank you.

    Hello Donna,

Just to let you know you have a problem with Omron pressure sensors. I have ordered Farnell part no. 2354010 Pressure sensors 0 to +/-50Pa and received a 0 -  500Pa part. There is an error in your description in the online catalogue. It seems that Farnell catalogue no's 2354010 and 2354011 have been mixed up. Is it possible to replace these parts with the correct sensors? I do not seem to be getting anywhere going through your customer returns procedure. I just end up with the same 0 - 500Pa parts.

    Thanks ChrisK

    Hi Christopher,

Donna is not going to react, she hasn't been online since 12th of April 2013. Farnell has a possibility to mention errors on their page though (almost top right of page, orange-ish triangle). If you push the 'I need technical help' button someone will be able to redirect you to the correct location to get a replacement.

    Hello Donna,

Are these MEMS sensors available as separate devices or are they made as 'captive' products for Omron?   I was wondering about their form-factor, cost and materials compatabiltiy of the raw sensor itself.

    Thanks

    Greg

If I were to spell EAT on my Tabla, I would tap my pointer finger, tap my thumb, and do a little kick to the 1:30 with the ring finger to get the letter t and you now have EAT! Please check out my site it explains everything! www.thenewkeyboard.com and see the layout at www.tablakey.com. Thank-you for the work you are perfecting. I hope to merge my aeiou alphabetical one hand or two hand split wireless keyboard. I wish to expand my concept to be thought of as a standard for computer input. Your idea blended with a logical and perfect setup. There are more expanded keysets, very logical, AWESOME for disabled, children, artists, really everyone. It is quick to learn and fun to learn! It blows qwerty away! I have left no stone unturned for the perfect layout. I am open to suggestions! But a keyboard layout based on AEIOU, lets face it, its the eureka keyboard! it's the I found it moment! haha. SO, i have a kickstarter that needs a production and fulfillment plan ready and turned back in. How many of these will you have available for market if we make this viral by this Christmas? How much will you want per unit? I will need ten per keyboard plus a moon shaped touch pad, above, and perhaps between the pointer fingers of each hand, so 12 hover responsive regions. I naturally could approach this as a pressure sensitive region without gesturing but I was intrigued by what you are developing!
