What are some new applications for MEMs sensors you're using/testing out now?

For any of you out there working with MEMs technology - what new applications are you looking at using or have you seen being used?

  • I`ll be working with the 3 axis accelerometers for use in my Robot, as part of an array of sensors to detect impact or forced movement when in security mode, so that it can engage weapons systems.

     

    I also thought it would be neat to use one in Christmas presents to set of an alarm to deter Present Shakers, (those that shake the box to find out what`s inside).
