Sensors & Transducer Education

I'd like to get some feedback from fellow engineers: what kind of informational, entertaining, or educational content (blog posts, white papers, downloads, videos) would you like to find on the internet surrounding the subject of sensors and transducers?  Is there anything in particular you've never been able to find that would be helpful, or simply intriguing?  Any subjects that are of interest?  Any formats that seem to be lacking in the engineering space?

One of the tricks in today's low-power mobile world is to turn off CPU resources that are not being used and then bring them out of hibernation in a few microseconds when needed. This "power only when…

The problem with this question is that it is far too broad:

Sensors range from coils of fibre optic cable (used with a LOT of other bits to make gyros) to limit switches that you can connect directly to a micro or a power circuit. There are literally millions of devices relying on hundreds of different operating principles and very little commonality.

Transducers could be anything from LEDs and displays to moving coil loudspeakers or piezo electric positioners.

From an E14 point of view I think the most useful contribution would be to make sure that you have applications information for all the devices you actually sell - although I haven't had many issues with not being able to find sufficient data or information.

Good point, I should have been more specific.  We specialize in Ultrasonic Transducers.  It's a pretty niche market, so I don't know if anyone here even works in this area of engineering.  You advice about making sure we have applications information for all the devices is definitely a good idea.  Thanks for contributing!
