Using MEMS Sensors evaluation board  on Rasberry B+

Hi all,

Has anybody suceeded in using a MEMS Sensor Evaluation Board on a Raspberry B+?

I'm unable to get the OS to boot with the provided image file with the board connected. It works if disconnected.

I'm able to boot with an installation of Raspian distribution and drivers installed but cannot access to the sensors...I've got a message saying ' bcm 3835 driver init failed'

Is there somebody who can help me?

Thx in advance

Did you use this downloaded image: http://downloads.element14.com/sensorboard/sensor_board_1128.zip?ICID=Raspberrypi-Mems-Sensors-Board-Xtrinsic-Board-Spac… Or did you build your own? I would suggest trying the downloaded one to verify no hardware problems first.

Hi, yes I've tried with this one

    http://downloads.element14.com/sensorboard/sensor_board_1128.zip?ICID=Raspberrypi-Mems-Sensors-Board-Xtrinsic-Board-Spac…

I used win32diskimager to write it to the sdcard but I can't get the os to boot with the board pluged in or not.

Just checking, but you unzipped and used the IMG file as input to win32diskimager. What SD card did you use? how big was it and the class. Sometimes these cards can vary in quality.

I've tested with each one with raspian and it works. I just can't boot with the provided image !

Did you tried mems sensors board with raspberry b+? and did you succeeded?
