Urgent help on distance measuring sensor

Distance Measuring Sensor Unit Measuring distance: 100 to 550 cm Analog output type

 

I Am trying to set up the above sensor for a college project and not sure where to begin or how to go about programming it or setting it up etc any help would be greatly appreciated at this Stage as its due next week and I don't know what I'm doing thank you

    If you apply the output of this sensor to a voltage to frequency converter which drives a transistor which in turn drives a loudspeaker, you'd get a tone that varies in frequency as you approach an object.
