I am working on a pilot use case of AI-IoT and I would appreciate feedback.
In particular, I am looking at the feasibility of deploying IoT sensors/sensors on communication mast - these sensors might be gateways that connect to
other distributed low-cost sensors within a locality. The usage of this sensor network could range from air quality monitoring, traffic analysis (for example
using Bluetooth signals), waste management etc. My questions
- Are there potential pitfalls (technical and otherwise) of this system or better ways to rethink the system ?
- If deployed in a local area as a paid service, can the model sustain itself and also generate revenue
- Is this a totally irrelevant idea and doomed to fail.
