Batemika Measurement Solutions was able to improve the accuracy of its UT-ONE family of thermometer readouts by implementing a VHP101T
Hermetically-Sealed Bulk MetalRegistered Foil resistor as the internal reference resistor. Long-term drifts were improved from over 20 ppm per year to less than 5 ppm per year.

    Another great example of a great technology, I have had a sample set of VPG resistors sent to be a couple of years ago to review and use in my projects where stability over temperature and time is essential, also some excelent twin resistors where the tolerances are down to better than 0.05% including matching between the two resistors. Makes for an excelent divider network or precision feedback chain for an instrument op-amp. The nice thing is you are not constrained to standard values. You can order a specific value down to the last digit of precision (5 or 6 Digits I think) and it will be made for you at no additional cost (This may be limited to only a specific product range )
