Keithley Instruments, Inc. (NYSE: KEI), a world leader in advanced electrical test instruments and systems, will broadcast a free, web-based seminar titled “Understanding the Basics of Electrical Measurements” on Thursday, July 8, 2010. To register for this event, visit http://www.keithley.info/basics10.

Designed for scientists and engineers with little experience of performing electrical measurements, this one-hour seminar aims to equip them with a fundamental level of measurement expertise. Seminar participants will get a clear overview of the many applications which require measurements such as current, voltage, resistivity, temperature, etc. They will also receive guidelines on how to choose test equipment, how to design a test system, how to identify and reduce sources of error in the system, or how to carry out measurements using existing equipment.

The one-hour seminar is accompanied by an interactive Q&A (during live broadcast) where participants can ask the presenter for additional insight on this important topic.
