HELP! Project in Stockholm and my DAQ has died.

Hello all,

I am finishing up a project in Stockholm (down to three weeks to go).  I brought with me a NI-PXI chassis with a 5105 DAQ card.  Sadly the card has died and NI are unable to help other than to sell me a new card and at 60000SEK it is a bit outside my project's budget.

What I need is a 8ch logger that can do 12bit or greater, sampling at 1Ms/s (per channel) with sufficient memory for 3 seconds of data, the inputs will be +-10V.  Triggered off one of the channels.  I will only need it for about two weeks as I go home to the 28th of July.  Being the summer here everyone has gone on holiday.

So if you are willing to rent one or know of one that is available it would get me out of trouble with my boss.

Many thanks

Mike Wheatley

    Hi look at:

    http://uk.farnell.com/pico-technology/picoscope-4424/oscilloscope-pc-high-precision/dp/1669213

its a 4 channel pc based unit, so it may be possible to connect 2 to your pc via the USB, then you just need to find a way to link the 2 waveforms in software?!

[After thought] Maybe you would have to use 2 laptops since the drivers might conflict on a single machine, and find a way to sync the 2 waveforms.

Thanks John, but that device only has a memory depth of 8K when sampling at 1MS/s.  The device I am looking for to buy will cost a fair bit more.
