Inferred camara

Was just gonna throw this out there. But was wondering if it would be possible to create a mod with an inferred camara and other industrial sensors (example co2). I work in the automotive industry and CAT makes a phone with these sensors. And those sensors are very useful and possibly life saving.

    I presume you mean "infrared camera" rather than "inferred camara", to which I presume this means you're interested in thermal imaging cameras? If so ... there are already add-on modules for mobile phones that can do this - e.g. the FLiR One or the Seek Thermal Camera units.

     

    As for CO2 and other sensors ... well, I guess you can buy some sensors and interface it to your phone (e.g. I2C to USB UART/Bluetooth/etc). In which case, you're building this yourself, although there are some evaluation kits that do have some sensors and communicate via Bluetooth.
