I want to measure the temperature over a large surface. In my case it is a heating coil, but it could really be anything that needs to be measured. I want to get an average of the overall temp. I have 8 10K thermistors, powered by a a remote source, that I will be placing along the coil.
To get an average, would I just wire them in series or parallel? Is the response time an issue with either setup, and which would be the most accurate?
