Just a heads up as I have ordered a set of these tools and they actually work. For years I have fought with removing pins and sockets from molex connectors. This nice set of pin picks is just what the technician ordered.

Okay, I've bitten and before I order them I'd like your view if they are any good, or simple cheap and limited. I note they say not to pry, which suggests they can't handle a little abuse. Cheers and thanks…

Hi Mark, I'm not going to tell you that they are high quality but the steel that is used in the prongs is hard and acts like spring steel. I was able to remove a male and female pin from a molex connector…

Nice find John. I still use the plastic tool that came with the connectors I purchased many-many years ago. So I am interested in seeing how well they work out for you. DAB

I've always been using a set of fine tip tweezers to push the flap down and slide the pin out. They look interesting.

Hi Michael,

I hope all is well with you in So. CA. I was thinking of you when some of those fires were threatening Eastern LA suburbs. As far as removing the pins I also have tried many things including miniature screw drivers and dental picks. Since I have retired I don't suppose I will have the need as I did in the past to pull pins but just in case these caught my eye.

Yes, the fires were bad this year. Fortunately for me, only one was close enough to see smoke. The fire in the North was devastating.
