Whilst looking through the sections of Farnell website, that perhaps I don't normally, to see what cool things I would add to a pseudo-Christmas list Deck Your Bench with an Engineer and Maker's Wish List I saw this Wiha electric screwdriver. It made me think how useful an electronic screwdriver could be for someone with poor hand dexterity or strength. The set shown below is quite expensive, more than most high end cordless drills and far-far more than a good quality set of manual screwdrivers. But it is small, lightweight and will produce enough torque to remove most stubborn fixings (or shear them or the thread ). There are a few variants by number of accessories and which mains power lead is provided.

What Else?
That has made me think, perhaps there are other tools and equipments that would help people with conditions and disabilities to enjoy engineering and electronics to a greater degree? Does anyone have some good ideas?
