Overview

 

The U3400U3400 Series digital multimeters (DMMs) come with functions vital for your everyday measurements: DC, AC and AC+ DC voltage and current, 2- and 4-wire resistance, frequency, continuity and diode tests. Math functions, such as dBm, Min/Max, Relative, Compare, Hold and Percentage are also available to ease your measurement analysis. Not only are the U3400U3400 Series built robust for lasting reliability over the long haul, these DMMs also ensure dependable measurements with up to 0.012% basic DCV accuracy.

 

Dual display on the U3400U3400 Series lets you view two parameters simultaneously as you measure, and further enhances your troubleshooting tasks. For example, the ability to see both AC voltage and frequency simultaneously would help you to measure the frequency response of amplifier circuits more efficiently and effectively.

 

Up to three measurement speeds are available on the U3402AU3402A: Slow, Medium and Fast. This means greater flexibility in catering to different testing needs: a faster measurement speed at lower resolution or a higher resolution at slower measurement speed.

 

Key Applications: Automated test applications, ATE systems in R&D, design validation, and manufacturing.

  • Six math operations:
    • dBm, Min/Max, Hold, Relative (Rel), Compare (Comp), Percentage (%)
  • 50,000 count dual display.
  • AC and DC current measurements to 10 A.
  • Resistance measurement up to 50 MΩ, 10 mΩ resolution.
  • Frequency measurement up to 500 kHz with 0.01 Hz resolution.
  • Measurement of dBm with variable reference impedance from 2 Ω to 8000 Ω.

 

The key features of the U3402AU3402A dual display multimeter are:

  • 5 ½ –digit dual display measurement
  • Eleven measurement functions:
    • AC voltage, DC voltage, AC + DC voltage, AC current, DC current, AC+DC current, 2-wire resistance, 4-wire resistance, Frequency, Continuity test, Diode test
  • Five math operations:
    • dBm, Min/Max, Relative (Rel), Compare (Comp), Hold
  • True RMS measurement for both AC+DC votage and current.
  • Wide AC and DC current measurememt range; from 12 mA to 12 A.
  • Resistance measurement up to 120 MΩ with 1 mΩ resolution at slow reading rate or up to 300 MΩ with 10 mΩ and 100 mΩ resolution at medium and fast reading rate respectively.
  • Frequency measurement up to 1 MHz.
  • dBm measurement with selectable reference impedance from 2 Ω to 8000 Ω and audio power measurement capability.
  • Dynamic recording for minimum and/or maximum readings.
