You gave us your predictions for the new platforms and technologies that are likely to dominate in 2016 back during the Community Awards, and over the last few days we've been discussing there those predictions might take us.
Today we're looking at wearable technology.
This is an area of electronics that I feel is very much akin to the Internet of Things. It's been around a little while, and there's been a couple of ideas that really sparked some interest and promised exciting things. And yet, it's still struggling to really find that essential foothold that makes wearable tech into a mainstream technology.
Where-able Tech?
Where exactly do you see the next step for wearable tech? Will the smartwatch finally arrive, or is there a better option on the horizon that'll combine our beloved tech with our portable selves?
