Any suggestions on what sensors/platforms for wearable technology and bio-monitoring?

I am seeing a lot of tech articles on Wearable sports gear for heart monitoring/etc...

Any suggestions on what sensors/platforms might be good to look at for working into monitoring skin conductivity, heart rate and/or body temp?

For a prototyping platform Cypress PSoC4 ($4) or PSoC5 ($10) are hard to beat for price/performance ratio. (Free development software) If you need lowest possible power, check these out in this order:…

Hello John,
As you are looking for wearable technology in sports sector, I would like to suggest "The Sudden Impact Wearables Design Challenge". Have a look into the contents and you'll get some ideas for your project I hope.
However, for wearable technology the system should have a small form factor and consume low power. So, according to your needs I think ADUCM350 or dsPIC33EP based system can be a good solution for you.
ADUCM350 has impedance measuring unit and AFE for bio-monitoring, which can be useful in your case. dsPIC33EP has digital signal processor module builtin which can be helpful for post processing of bio-signals.
