Hi all. Newish here. Never posted before so sorry if this is wrong section. Not used to this type of forum layout.
I have an old gaming headset.
They are really nice but come with crap cables to plug into a 3.5mm jack.
So what I want to do is make them into a wireless bluetooth headset.
I want to be able to use the mic though so need to upload a channel and download two for left and right speakers.
I found this KC-5190 "Bluetooth Audio Hi Power Module" at http://kcwirefree.com/audio.html
So as you can see,,, bit small. Good for fitting into the headset. Bad for wiring up as it is made to be put onto a PCB and not cabled up.
The chip does everything I need. It also allows you to have it charge a battery from either a 4-6v line or via the USB lines. (IDK the tech terms for the copper bits.. )
So perfect chip in every way but the size.
I guess I could get someone to print me a breakout board to fit what I need?
Anyone got any other "modules" that would be suitable for what I need?
Thank you.
