It seems that when I use Eagle to export to gerber (using the std cam
gerber274x ...or any other gerber cam listed there), that all the eagle
layers get 'flattened' into one ...this is real a hassle for me.
I like to mill my pcb...so I use the gerbers as import files into another
cam program
The cam program I use (cambam) can create seperate 'drawing layers' for
each gerber layer....but becuase eagle flattens the layers when
exporting, everything inn the gerber therefore gets imported into one
layer.... I then have to spend ages reconstructing all the drawing objects
into layers again within cambam.
Are there any gerber cam experts that can advise how I can get Eagle to
export to gerber but retaining the layers so that cambam will accept.
I've attached a (non Eagle produced) gerber file in the format that cambam
reads the seperate layers.
