All 16 of the sponsored Challengers for the Design for a Cause Challenge will receive for FREE the kit detailed in the table below.
Our judges will choose 16 applicants to become sponsored challengers, and they will receive the kit free of charge. If you are not a sponsored challenger, you can still compete as a non-sponsored or independent challenger. See note below.*
*Once the sponsored Challengers receive their kit, they will then embark on their journey of designing an exciting and original project that uses the Arduino . They will design a piece of assistive technology for individuals living with physical or mental impairments. (NOTE: Even if you aren't a sponsored Challenger, you can still participate in the Design Challenge as long as you integrate the Arduino MKR1000 Dev Board into your design.)
The deadline for project application submissions is 20th June 2018.
Interested in joining the Challengers? You can do it as a non-sponsored Challenger! Here's how:
Simply purchase the low-cost Arduino , integrate it into your project, and post 10 blogs about your design journey in the Design for a Cause space, tagging your blogs 'Design for a Cause.' Then you'll be eligible to win the awesome prizes.
