The Winners
Grand Prize Winner
milosrasic98 - OrbWeaver Rover
/search?q=just%20encase#serpauthor=46770&serpcategory=blog&serpgroup=354&serpsort=date%20desc
- Showing the case working in different environments was good.
- the cases where well utilized with all the components used in the enclosures.
- The data collected was shown well.
- The complexity and design of this project was well thought through. The sensor alone was complexed enough but to add the rover to this project put it over the top.
- The report was easy to follow, well laid out, and was a fun read.
- One thing I didn’t like to see in the report was, they mentioned to use Loctite to seal holes. this will destroy the plastic and should not be used on our plastic enclosures.
- This guy is a stellar designer. Very impressed he was able to turn our box into a fully functioning rover!
- He also made a temp, humidity and air pressure logger and showed the enclosure being used outside in the elements which shows its intended function.
- I also liked the rover just because it was so thorough with nice photos and videos.
- So different and an unusual to use the enclosure as the main body of a rover.
- Googly eyes for style points.

- This project was well thought out and showed our cases provided protection against the elements
- A complicated project that can measure Water temp at various depths, Total dissolved solids, Water level, pH, Air temp, humidity, light levels, air pressure
- I love the testing he did on the enclosures. The one passed 96+ hr submersion test!
- Very clear results in conclusion. The system works and is useful
Pratyush_ceteb – Wind Turbine Monitoring /search?q=just%20encase#serpauthor=221647&serpcategory=blog&serpgroup=354&serpsort=date%20desc
- The use of the pole mount kit was great.
- Good use of the enclosure in the elements.
- The blog was a good read but I would like to see more of the data collected shown.
- All around good project, but it left me wanting more from the blog.
- Neat project measuring conditions of a wind turbine during operation.
- I liked that he used the pole mount straps and did some vibration testing on the enclosures during use.
- He also did some basic water testing which I liked.
- DougW - Just Encase Solar Super Capacitor Weather Station
- Simple project to monitor outdoor temperatures, but is solar powered and can send data via Bluetooth.
- Well described and executed, nice finished look on end result. Clearly operates as intended.
- Tested the enclosure outside and good comments on the benefits of our IP rating, etc..
