This EnviroCycle Composter (https://www.envirocycle.com/ ) made with two parts, Rolling part and bottom tank. The PSoC6 board going to attach with
the rolling part so its challenging to charge the board with wired connection. I decided to make an non contact (wireless) charging system in this.
I have bought this charging module from seeedstudio. This has 1A 5V ratings. The input for this board is given from solar panel , the voltage is step down to
5V with 7805 regulator.The solar panel output ( 15 to 21V) is regulated to 5V and pass through wireless power transmitter (primary coil).
The out from the wireless power receiver is fed to the Li-Ion charging circuit. I'm using3.7v battery for backup for this
composer to run.
I have faced issues w.r.t the power input , the setup works 100% if i power the board (USB) from PC. Using
external 12V input or 5V from external power supply does not works for some time. Hope i will be sort out this issue
update it this blog. The issue is stil exists but i managed for now.
I have updated my battery pack with newer one and fitted everything inside the plastic case to ensure its
durability. This setup going to be mount on the Composter rotating Bin with Glue.
