Smart Range hood touchscreen replacement!

Just a quick update - the replacement touchscreen came in while I was traveling this week, but it is up and running! I am all complete now!

    Everything came together to make a beautiful final project - the hardware and software all looks very professional.

     

    And I'm also very impressed with your smd soldering skills! image

    Thanks Nico - the hood has been awesome and is a great conversation piece. I liked especially how it was a truly multi-discipline. There was a little bit of everything in this - electrical design, PCB layout, then lots of CAD work - sheet metal design, 3D printing and the cool air baffle.

     

    It has been installed and running for nearly a year now, so I'm planning out a follow-up post talking about how it has been working.
