Project Update

Last week I started experimenting with a component which isn't part of the kit. As described in my very first post, I plan to use the Touch Board for capacitive touch applications.

Because the board also has an onboard mp3 player, it is perfect to play certain sound effects when triggering the sensors.

First I got to set up the board and familiarise myself with how it works and then I worked out a little demo for my futuristic desk.

You can find more information and some thoughts on the Touch Board here: Sci Fi Your Pi: PiDesk - Review: Bare Conductive Touch Board

For a little taste of how this will fit into my project, you can watch the video below:

Who can guess where I got the (temporary) sound effects from ??

I've just watched it purposefully to have a guess but I've no idea. Clueless lol!
