Hi Challengers, While I was trying to interface the MAX30208EVSYS, I am unable to see MAX30208 on I2C Scanner. Looking at Logic Analyzer, I am seeing the SCL Line held low consistently so even the first address of the I2C scanner is not being completed. The behavior is same with and without the Flex sensor of MAX320208 being attached. So, I am coming to think it might be the DS2484 which also sits on the same I2C Lines. Based on the Schematics of the EVSYS, it should be powered and hence no reason to clamp the SCL Down. Jumpers were checked Pullups is working correctly No shorts of SCL to GND The SCL being low is regardless of whether the flex cable is attached or not The same firmware identifies the MAX30102 Sensor when connected to the breakout board (lines were removed from the MAX30208EVSYS Board) Continuity tested between J10 of the EVSYS Board and the NRF-DK Now, I am gonna sit on this tomorrow with a fresh mind maybe even try and remove the DS2484. So If anyone is running into trouble. do let me know, We can have a discussion on this. Any help will be grateful.

Hello Arvindsa,

On which position is your J6 connector?
Before removing the DS2484, did you check if:

- It is powered ?

- SCL/SDA and SLPZ pins are on a high level ?

J6 is on the I2C part. the DS2484 VCC and SLPZ are connected to VCC (3V) as per schematics. Haven't checked it on the pins of IC yet. SDA is high due to pull-up but SCL is not in spite of the pull-ups up. And it is at 0.4 voltage even if I simply connect the VCC and Gnd to the EVSYS board. Only DS2484 touches the SCL net.
