This video shows demo of CC3200 -mod based chest strap module working with Android App...

I havn't wear this module so even I have interfaced AD8232 Heart Rate monitor, I am sending junk data to app for heart rate..

Temp sensor ADT7320 is interfaced and data are perfect..

ADXL375 Accelerometer is on CC3200-mod module to detect chest impact, It is not caliberated so it shows acceleration more than real acceleration..

Halmet Acceleration Sensor is working just fine... It is MSP430+ADXL375

Shortly I will share fully working module with application with some Graph future to observe ECG signal also....

Here Is small photo story of assembling Chest Strap ....

Very soon I will publish all my code, Apps and Test Video here...

Thanks

Ravi

    Hi Ravi,

Wow. I'm amazed. Truly amazing video, love the complete end-to-end demonstration.

You've made a complex scenario (multiple players _and_ multiple measurement parameters _and_ a single pane view…

Good Call Shabaz, I would of missed this excellent article . Ravi has done very well and documented it very well!!

and even all the passive components and LEDs are 0603 package... you will find large spacing between components only because i have only hand soldering option and it need large work area around components.. as the same is not necessary when there is machine/reflow for all components... So there was lots of planning before layout preparation.. Today I am confident that If have have given chance to commercially fabricate the PCB and component soldering will be done in professional reflow oven, I can reduce the size of PCB by atleast by 1/4 of what it is right now...

I have used simply toner transfer method with FeCl3 as enchant for build PCB.. As all the PCBs are two layer..it was a trivial task to limit no of vias while preparing layout...even after that it was very hard work to short these vias by hand soldering... But any way I have done it satisfactory with out wasting any PCB...

Nice. Good choice for the boxing material. How did you build the PCB ? I am curious

I have searched for the download option but it seems not possible, as far as what I have searched. It will be the reason that any video that are not just like a shoot to show a detail are uploaded on Youtube or Vimeo. You can try to use one of the tons of free small programs that download the streaming from the internet while playing. The only problem of these programs is that they does not download the video file from the source but really saves locally the captured streams so the resolution and quality are the ones you see after the E14 server has processed your upload and not the original one you uploaded.
