Hi All,
I didn't want to write this post, but had to let people know what has happened. So when I found out I was picked as a sponsored challenger I was quite excited to get started on my project. But as I got into it, I found the needed items I had to get to put it together some of which were quite expensive, I had to approach a local supplier to see if they would sponsor me, I phoned up Core Electronics, and over the phone they were interested but had to write them a letter, outlining my project, and what items I required, which most of which they could provide, to bring my project to a success.
So whilst I was writing my letter, things at home took a turn for the worse, I help take care of my parents, and my elderly mother took a nasty tumble, she is still alive but very sore (and now struggling to walk), unfortunately it meant my dad could not fully take care of her, so I had to help out, with a number of things, this also meant I lost the time I needed to work on my project, and I never got round to completing the letter to send to Core Electronics.
I'm very sorry I was never able to get my project out of the planning stage. Even though now I have the time to work on it, there is no time left to work on it (as projects are due next week). I'm extremely grateful I got selected. I'm sorry I did not provide an update sooner, but caring for my mum has taken up a lot of my spare time, to help out my dad. Mum still requires more than the normal amount of care, but dad does not need my help nearly as much now.
I hope people understand. I'm happy to return the FPGA if that is case. But I am truly sorry to let you all down
Regards
