Welcome to my #2 blog of the Summer of Sensors Design Challenge. I shared my approach to making Smart Container Tracker for TAG You’re it Challenger.
I recently received my kit from element14. The STEVAL-SMARTAG1 is an NFC Dynamic Tag sensor node evaluation board having an STM32L0 ultra-low power ARM Cortex-M0+ MCU, ST25DV64K dynamic NFC tag, an high accuracy 3-axis accelerometer, temperature & humidity sensor, pressure sensors, etc.., that can be powered using a CR2032 battery.

The STEVAL-SMARTAG1 is so small (40x40mm) and weighs less than 50g. Due to its size, I believe it would be the perfect fit for this project. The package had a STEVAL-SMARTAG1 board and a connector that can be connected to the SWD/ST-Link. We will be discussing setting up the Smart tag in the next blog.

In the next blog, we will be studying in detail the STEVAL-SMARTAG1. Keep following the blogs to know what we are building.
Thanks for reading!
