Have you tried WIN10 system update?

Click on Windows "Start" icon, "Settings", "Update & recovery". "Windows update".

    http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/windows-10-build-9926-wheres-windows-update

Seem like issues with USB drivers are rampant with version 10.

I'm working in Linux, Ubuntu 14.04,  right now. But I have Win10 VM. I'll crank it up, install SS and see what I can find out.

    No problem...

Ok, I am installing SS now with the EFM32ZG connected and it found it. But it's still in the middle of the install. I think it's going to take a bit. It may be hung up, seems like that happened when I installed on Ubuntu as well. I may have to stop it and do the updates manualy. But it did detect the SI board.

Hey, do you already have the EZR32WG starter kit? I saw you mentioned 3 boards.

Right, I'm assuming you're in the UK.

Simplicity is still loading on my Win10 VM. I'll let ya know what I find out.

    Hey Shane...

I installed SS on Win10 VMand it found the EFM32ZG board no problem. I compiled and flashed one of the example programs and it ran fine.

You're not getting any error messages or anything? Just not finding the board?

When you plug the baord into the computer, there should be two leds lit. A green one blinking, maybe a couple times a second, just behind and to the inside of the USB connector. There's also a blue LED next to the USB connector. When the board is not connected it blinks rapidly. Once it finds the board it will change to solid. Are you seeing these LEDs lit at all?
