  • After reading through the terms and conditions I had a few questions:

     

    1. Does the blog reside on the element14 site or can we create a separate blog offsite for the sole purpose of this competition and our respective project?

     

    2. Are the blog posts published as we submit them every week or will they be published all at once when the competition codes to a close?

     

    3. The competition is for vertical farming indoors, but does our project HAVE to be done indoors as long as it would ALSO operate indoors?

    Thanks for the questions!

    1. The blog will need to reside on the element14 Community site, specifically the Vertical Farming space on the Community.

    2. Blogs are published by the competitor every week.

    3. The criteria in which it will be judged off of it its performance as it operate indoors. If it works outdoors as well - cool.

    Thanks for the response. Two more questions real quick in reply:

     

    1. What format do the blog posts need to be submitted in? (pdf, Word, OpenOffice, etc)

     

    2. Where/whom do the blog posts need to be submitted to?

     

    (Sorry if this seems elementary. I'm rather new to the element 14 site and how it works.)

    No worries, welcome to the Community!

     

    If you go to the "Create" drop down on the top navigational bar of the Community (next to your username) and select "Blog" this is the format you must submit your progress in. There is a lot you can do with that content type. Before you post there is an option on where to post it- it would be submitted into the Vertical Farming space ( this is not possible during the application phase). There are other instructions (what to tag the content with for example) that are provided to the Challengers when they are selected.
