  • first and forward use this kit to learn linux and programming + I have a large media collection of pictures and videos on my the NAS to share with my family to stream, 

  • I like to find out what can I learn from this device including linux or windows 10. 

  • Ghost TV!

    Last year I created a RPi project that converted random electrical noise to phonemes of the English language (like syllables) using Python, SoX (Swiss Army Knife of Audio), Festival Speech Synthesizer and a shell script to automate bootup and chaining the software. The device, housed in an old police scanner, can be used to vocalize electromagnetic signals for “ghost hunting” in any space, where a spirit from beyond the grave could learn to affect and control these random signals. (Short Video of the device below)


    I would like to use a new RPi to create a Ghost Visualizer, that uses the same process to convert random electromagnetic signals or noise to images, using a derivative of Scott W Harden’s excellent QRSS VD spectrographic visualizer project:

    The RPi media server could then stream noise derived images to a television, that could also be affected from beyond the grave! → ghost TV!

  • If i am lucky to get one of this , i would interface it to my old laptop screen and try to make a mini entertainment set

  • I'm have been looking for a alternative to me current media centre - and being the Linux 'geek' that I am, this sounds fantastic.

     

    I currently have my home anti-virus running off a early model PI.

     

    Also my nephew is really interested in learning Linux, so this could be my perfect opportunity to get him started...............
