Three Viewer Challanges(Most wanted to not as much)

1. Use an AVR32/Teensy/Netduino to build a mini game console that can run GBA ROMs!

2. Use a mini tft (178x220/320x240) as a second monitor for Windows!

3. Build a POV wind turbine. If you want a bigger challenge, load bitmaps from SD card.

  • 1) Not sure the AVR32 has the power to emulate the GBA, Yes I have seen the video but you never see the chip it is running on. It would be far easier to build a simple Raspberry Pi with a screen and install the standard emulator on it.

     

    2) Why would you want to? I mean, 320x240 is very small for today's systems and It may hold an icon or two. To me this is useless only because I dont own a windows computer. lol

     

    3) Not sure I understand this one, POV (Point Of View) Wind Turbine, what does it do, what is the use of such a device?

     

    So Ill speak up and say None of the above.

     

    Please elaborate on the POV Wind Turbine though, maybe I am not seeing something and maybe it is a cool idea.

    As in like a mini windmill that spins and an oscillator that measures the rates/second. Then we have LED's that display some images. YouTube has cool videos. I saw someone watch big buck bunny!!!
