This about where is exactly cameras and find it.

Could you please clarify if you are trying to to track objects with a camera, or track the cameras themselves. If you want to track an object the opencv is probably your best bet.

Do you have project goals and objectives? Do you have parameters or limits? We can offer advice only to specifics and cannot generate a project here. Did you get details from your professor?

Well, a separate camera with open CV might be able to help with this, but this seems like a very difficult project. Are you alowed to alter the cameras being tracked?
