raspberry pi style i pod touch (pi pod)

Ok I have been watching Ben's raspberry pi builds and i think a great project would be to build a raspberry pi style i pod touch (pi pod).

It should have a 3.5 inch touch screen display, maby a custom OS for music, movies gaming Minecraft etc .

Built in battery, camera or two. Then a cool 3D printed and/or lazer cut case to hold it all together also it would be great if it was as slim as possible.

Thanks

The banana pi has a built in on off button so you could desolder this and mount it somewhere else on the case. As for the screen, it appears to use spi, which the banana pi supports. Even so, I am only about 60℅ sure it will work. I think the likelihood of the android distribution including support for it is even lower, but there is a slim chance it will work. The only way to find out is to buy the parts and test them out.

I am not sure if that module would be able to power the pi. It looks like it is just a charger. This module is a bit more expensive, but for ease of wiring and piece of mind I recommend you spend a little more on it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5V-1A-Lithium-Battery-Charge-Board-for-Monolithic-Integrated-Circuit-Development-/191104272723?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Supplies_ET&hash=item2c7eb3c953

I would start again and for use a controlable bench power supply to see how low a raspberry pi can go my guess would be that a 3.7v baterry would not be enough so you should use two and take away 2.4v also to make your pi pod thinner remove the ethernet as you can use a wi-pi get the lithium baterry from 4tronix and use model A or A+ i would advise a model A+ as it is smaller and has more gpio pins also remove the unneeded jacks and move the sound jack. and to make it touch screen use an old ipod maby a second gen and if you cannot use a ipod maby see if adafruit have anything at 4tronix. if you need any help my email is harryraspberrypi@gmail.com.
