I was experimenting with the lm35 dz temperature sensor to see if it would work like a transistor. Amazingly, it acted the same as a PNP transistor. Can someone tell me why this is?

That is right Don, just in the end the transistor is NPN

, dislike figthing. It is the combination with the opamp, where the internal diode of the base-emitter in the loop of the op amp, what makes the 'PNP behave'.
