That ATTINY sure is being worked hard, I think you should set up the watch dog timer to prevent it from jamming up even though in theory it shouldn't jam. I've been caught out before when the watch dog could have saved me from revisiting a job.

Yes, what Rachael is saying is what I was getting at. Even in the instance that the MCU freezes and the glue is not squirting, having a watch dog timer in place would prevent you from having to cycle the power on the glue gun to make it work again, it would just reset and the user would never know there was an issue. Seeing as the MCU regulates the temperature it would also be a good idea to have a watch dog timer from a safety perspective.
