I am sorry to see the Ben Heck show end - it is what led me to the Element14 community. In addition, I was lucky enough to meet Ben and Karen at the Maker Faire in San Francisco last year. It was my one…

This was really nice seeing a softer side of Ben! You definitely will be missed but Karen and Felix are off to a good start and will find their own way of doing things to please the viewers (most of them…

Can't say I'm surprised, as I feel this was bound to happen some day. The attempt to change the show's name was thought to be a step in that direction by many. Best of luck to Ben and the rest of the team…

    Are you

    Farnell element14

The company might sound American but its not its a UK based company, its headquarters is in Leeds York,UK.

The company, which was established as the European arm of Premier Farnell, introduced the element14 brand name in 2010, replacing the legacy brands of Premier Electronics, Farnell and Farnell-Newark with Farnell element14 and Newark element14. The name was taken from silicon, the 14th element in the Periodic Table, which is widely used in electronic components such as integrated circuits and discrete semiconductors.[5][6]

Good Luck Ben,I know its a bit late but what the hell,I hope Element14 does better than Mapin did,Luck they don't have shops to worry about.

2 things us Brits are good at Element14 and the Raspberry Pi... image Most of the 8bit computers in the 80s were made by us too.(BBC Micro,ZX Spectrum,Amstrad CPC464/128,Dragon32,Acorn Electron.) The Arm CPU was built in the UK, part of the Acorn Archimedes.
